I carry approximately 40 lbs. of books in this backpack, trudging all around campus three days a week. It ain't pleasant, but it could be a lot worse. The design of the backpack keeps everything cool, even on the hottest day, and the padding around the laptop area (it fits up to a 15.4" laptop) helps keep the weight of the books evenly distributed. There are a lot of little pockets and compartments which come in handy, and the straps are VERY comfortable--they're made out of a thick gel material. One of the things I like most about the design of this backpack is how the zippered tops only open from 10 to 3, so that even if it does come unzipped, my things won't fall out.
I am a college student and this backpack is perfect for me. I have the red/gray version and it looks a little sporty with that color combination. It has an external mesh pocket for a beverage, 2 external stash pockets, one organizer section for pens/cell phone/laptop charger, and 2 main full-length sections for books and a 15" laptop. The straps are super comfortable due to the gel material on the upper parts. I carry a lot of weight in the pack daily and I don't feel it on my shoulders at all. My only complaint is that the height dimension is rather tall, so the pack looks a little bulky even if it's not completely full. The size would be too large for a kid or a petite person. This is a great updated backpack with comfort features, and I think it's worth the cost.
I bought this for my daughter. She finally wore out a backpack that she'd had for about 8 years.
I was concerned that she'd like one that was a little different, but she LOVED it. It is strong, beautifully designed and has lots of pockets for things. LOVED IT.
Awesome backpack! My daughter in A high school freshman and the strap broke on her last one. This is durable and fits everything she needs to bring to school. It was also a beautiful color.
this product has alot of room. it even has a laptop section to it. but it is too big for any highschooler to be lugging around. so i would suggest this for college students that use their laptop alot, because i got this at the discount price of under 40 bucks.
